The evolution of a technical solution also involves reviewing its formulation and improving the properties that are most important during application and in-service performance. At Tecnol, this commitment to continuous improvement is now reflected in the new TQ Sop Vial and TQ Colafix Grip formulas, with both products incorporating developments designed to optimise performance and make professional application easier.
The new formulations introduce specific improvements in areas such as resistance, visibility, product consistency and application, while maintaining a clear focus on delivering solutions adapted to the requirements of each job.
TQ Sop Vial: greater wear resistance and improved visibility
The new TQ Sop Vial formula improves several properties related to its performance and behaviour. One of the main developments is its greater resistance to wear, an especially relevant feature in applications exposed to continuous use. This improvement provides a formulation designed to respond more effectively to the demands of the environment in which the product is applied. This is complemented by improved visibility, enhancing one of the product’s key functions.
The reformulation also provides a higher solids content and greater density. Together, these characteristics complete the evolution of TQ Sop Vial and result in a formula with enhanced performance. Overall, the main improvements to TQ Sop Vial are:
- Greater resistance to wear.
- Improved visibility.
- Higher solids content.
- Greater density.
An update designed to provide a more consistent product with enhanced performance during application.
TQ Colafix Grip: ready to use and more homogeneous application
The new TQ Colafix Grip formula introduces changes specifically aimed at simplifying preparation and improving the product’s behaviour during application. One of the most significant developments is that it is now ready to use. There is no need to mix it with water beforehand, removing an additional preparation step and making application more straightforward. In addition, the new formulation does not settle, helping to improve product stability. The aggregate remains in suspension and is distributed more evenly, resulting in a more homogeneous distribution throughout the mixture.
Another key feature of the new formula is that it can be reactivated during the first seven days thanks to its chemical bonding mechanism. This property extends the working possibilities during this period and represents an important development in the product’s formulation. TQ Colafix Grip therefore incorporates four main improvements:
- Ready-to-use product, with no need to mix with water.
- The formula does not settle.
- More evenly distributed suspended aggregate.
- Can be reactivated during the first seven days through chemical bonding.
New formulations designed to improve every application
The new TQ Sop Vial and TQ Colafix Grip formulas share the same objective: to improve specific characteristics that directly influence the performance and ease of application of each product.
While TQ Sop Vial strengthens properties such as wear resistance, visibility, density and solids content, TQ Colafix Grip moves towards simpler, more homogeneous application while also introducing the possibility of reactivation during the first seven days.
Two new formulations that continue to evolve in order to provide technical solutions better suited to the needs of professional applications.
