At Tecnol we have obtained the ISO 14001 certificate for our commitment to the Environment

At Tecnol we work for sustainable development and pollution prevention. We promote the use of recycled, recyclable, and maintenance-free products for the benefit of a circular economy. The sum of all these actions has led us to obtain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification from AENOR.

The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certificate from the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification recognizes the good environmental practices of companies and their willingness to continue improving climate change prevention, guaranteeing the highest quality standards. The development of our products to reduce their environmental impact has been key to obtaining the certificate.

At Tecnol we have been working for ten years to produce and market efficient, recycled, recyclable, and sustainable products. Thanks to this vision and philosophy, growth has led us to collaborate with more than 4,000 municipalities and to be the leading company in the distribution and installation of solar lighting in Spain.

AENOR’s ISO 14001 certificate is recognized by the global certifying entity IQNet and carries both environmental and economic advantages. And it reaffirms our commitment to being a company that works for our environment and the planet, which is part of the philosophy of the company with which we have been working for some time. Thanks to our development, we have also obtained prestigious certifications in terms of energy savings, such as the 0 Carbon Footprint, the RESET Indoor Air Quality Certificate and an A+ energy rating.

Committed to the planet

This new certification joins the rest that have been granted to us for the specific policies that we have developed since our beginnings, in favor of innovation, sustainability, and the benefit of the environment. Some of the certifications obtained are: the ISO 9001:2012 Quality Management System Certificate from AENOR; ISO 13485:2016 Health Products Quality Management System Certificate or the DITE Certificate (European Technical Approval Document).

Likewise, we have recently received the City of Reus Environment Award recognition for good environmental practices in the construction of the new corporate headquarters of our business group (Maser Grup). This new building of the group has led us to have the Leed Gold seal from the US Green Construction Council, thus being the first construction to obtain it in the Tarragona district.
