The young promise of Spanish tennis, sponsored by Tecnol, Martina Genís, has secured a place in the prestigious Wimbledon tournament. The Wimbledon junior tournament, which will be held from July 8 to 16 in the United Kingdom, will have 64 players in the main draw, and our tennis player will be one of them.

The 2023 season began with great results for Genís, and it is the achievement of these good results that has led her to compete in one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world of tennis. In March, together with her doubles partner Blanca Pico, they were proclaimed winners of the J200 Valencia of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors. Weeks later, in the J300 individual box, Villena obtained a valuable second place. And since then, she has won in the individual table and in the doubles table in the J200 Cap d’Ail, in J650 Tarragona and in doubles and runner-up in singles in J200 Salsomaggiore.

This good progression at the beginning of the season has led Genís to certify his participation in the Wimbledon Grand Slam and temporarily rank 44th in the World Tennis Tour Junior Rankings.
