At Tecnol, we understand social responsibility as a fundamental part of the way we do business. For this reason, once again this year, we have actively participated in a new solidarity initiative in support of the Food Bank, coinciding with the end of December and the beginning of the new year. This campaign was carried out together with MaserGrup and the other companies that form part of the group, reinforcing a shared commitment to our local community.

The initiative, based on an internal food and toy collection, took place across the group’s different facilities in Reus. Thanks to the voluntary involvement of the people who make up Tecnol and MaserGrup, more than 130 kg of essential food items were collected, along with several toys intended for families and children in vulnerable situations.

At Tecnol, we particularly value initiatives like this because they allow us to generate a real and positive social impact. During the holiday season, when many families face greater difficulties, solidarity actions such as this one become even more meaningful. The collected food includes basic products such as rice, pasta, legumes and canned goods, which will be distributed by the Food Bank to ensure they reach households most in need. The donated toys, meanwhile, will help bring joy and excitement to children during such a special time of year.

Once again, the response to the campaign has been very positive. Beyond the total amount of food collected, the results highlight the importance of collective effort and individual solidarity. At Tecnol, we firmly believe that companies have a responsibility to contribute actively to improving the social reality of their surroundings.
